1 difference being Cheryl was the lady's keynote speaker, and the
2 call for her sessions were conducive to what we knew of her and
3 what the general public knew, and those issues would have been
4 violated on the matter of divorce and/or the matter of an
5 adulterous affair, and therefore, a suggestion would not have
6 been made to suggest that she speak on other subjects.
7 Q. Given the discovery of one or both of these conditions
8 existed on June 22 that I described to you, would you have
9 recommended canceling all seven of the speeches?
10 A. Because "Reality Scheduling" indicates under 3A, "What is
11 important to your husband," I would have excluded that. Because
12 "Household Organization," item 5 indicates "Getting your
13 children to help," therefore discussing family matters, I would
14 have suggested eliminating that. On the basis of item 4,
15 "Living Simply," "How we feed 11 people on $200 a month" would
16 have focused on her family, in all likelihood her husband, I
17 would have excluded that.
18 Q. To your knowledge, Mr. Boutot, CHEO is not a competitor of
19 Cheryl Lindsey in the production of home schooling magazines, is
20 it?
21 A. No, sir.
22 Q. There had been no decision or agreement that you're aware
23 of, had there, again, by yourself or any other defendants, that,
24 should she fail to meet your conditions, any of the defendants
25 would engage in putting her out of business as a publisher of a
