It is so important that we all share an attitude of non-judgment and goodwill - because homeschooling is as individual as each child and each family practicing it.
Homeschools in many parts of the country, particularly the private school states like Texas, have been a happy exception from this national norm of dependency. I think we will be wise to maintain that exception.
We enjoy spending time with each of these families. There is no newsletter, no announcements, no complicated organizing to do. We just call each other on the phone and extend an invitation.
