Homeschooling while traveling

The mother of a homeschooling family from Sweden recently wrote that thanks to homeschooling, her family has been able to travel long term around the world. She also mentioned that they often visit other families while touring since there are only about 100 families in Sweden that homeschool.

Happy 40th Earth Day

In my opinion, every day should be Earth Day, but I’m glad that we do celebrate it once a year and bring awareness to others.

PBS KIDS® will have Earth friendly episodes of Clifford, Arthur and others all ready for Earth Day on April 22nd. They will be celebrating Earth Day and their new Web-based Earth Day Channel on http://www.pbskidsgo.org.
Disneyature Earth looks like a pretty cool looking movie. I don’t know if I’ll see it at the theatre, but I’m very, very tempted. Perhaps a matinee.
