3   Q.  Mr. Harris, in 1994 you considered The Teaching Home to be a
4   premier publication in the home schooling industry; isn't that
5   right?
6   A.  Yes.
7   Q.  And you thought The Teaching Home and Sue Welch were a very
8   important part of the home schooling movement; correct?
9   A.  Yes.
10   Q.  And you advertised in The Teaching Home; correct?
11   A.  Yes.
12   Q.  Now, Mary Pride, do you know her as the author of the Big
13   Book of Home Schooling; isn't that right?
14   A.  Yes.
15   Q.  And you advertised in her magazine, Practical Homeschooling;
16   correct?
17   A.  Yes.
18   Q.  Now, in 1994 you believe that Cheryl Lindsey's profile in
19   the Christian home schooling industry was rising; isn't that
20   right?
21   A.  Yes.
22   Q.  In fact, you wanted her to speak at as many of your
23   conferences that you could get her to speak at; correct?
24   A.  Yes.
25   Q.  She had name recognition and she could draw a crowd; isn't

2   A.  Yes.

3   Q.  And, of course, she spoke at some of the Christian Life
4   Workshop conferences that you sponsor; isn't that right?
5   A.  Yes.
6   Q.  And you, as you mentioned, would tape some of her
7   presentations given at the conferences and people would contact
8   the Christian life Workshop to obtain copies of those tapes;
9   isn't that right?
10   A.  Yes.
11   Q.  And, in fact, you had booked her to speak at a conference
12   that you had planned on having in Atlanta in August of 1994;
13   correct?
14   A.  That's correct.
15   Q.  Now, Claude Lindsey, before he called you at the CHEO
16   convention, you didn't remember ever speaking to the man; isn't
17   that right?
18   A.  That's correct.
19   Q.  And, of course, you've never met him?
20   A.  No.
21   Q.  And Claude told you that he had confessed this relationship
22   with Rick Seelhoff to her pastor; isn't that right?
23   A.  Could you repeat that.
24   Q.  I misstated it. Claude told you"that Cheryl had confessed
25   her relationship with Rick Seelhoff to her Pastor, Joe Williams;

2    A.  No, I don't believe the word "confessed" was used, but he
3  caught her and she had admitted it.
